jim kook is a self taught artist living and working in hertfordshire. he likes to work in graphite and biro pen, specializing in portraits and pets.
jim won the gloucestershire U18s arts prize in 1986 but didn’t draw or paint again until over 30 years later when a chance encounter saw him invited to paint john barnes (ex england, liverpool & watford football player) for a special event.
a huge success, this lead to many sporting celebrity commissions including paul gascoigne, graham souness, gary neville, ian wright, stuart pearce, frank bruno, deontay wilder, tyson fury, ryan giggs, alistair cook and many more.
